Kow Ping - Executive Director and Co-Founder - WELL BEING DIGITAL (WBD101)

Kow Ping is a co‐founder and executive director of Well Being Digital, a Hong Kong company that has won numerous international awards for a non-invasive health sensing technology that is now licensed by more than 20 models of earbuds (including Anker, Cleer, Hera Leto, Philips, JBL, Motorola, Parrot SA) and Qidi AR Glasses to detect health vital signs. Since the company’s inception in 2012, it now has almost 150 patents and is recognized by the Hong Kong Government as a Designated Local Research Institute.

Kow also sits on the board of Actywell Digital Limited, for the Hong Kong-based Hera Leto brand, that targets the healthcare sector specifically in out-of-hospital monitoring, including tele-rehabilitation, home-sleep care, occupational safety and health, as well as tele-consultation. Actywell Digital is an approved vendor of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority and has supplied various products to gerontology centres, rehabilitation centres and sleep clinics.

He has a Master’s degree in International Management with Distinction from Royal Holloway, University of London, a B.A.Sc from Nanyang Technological University, and holds five patents in his name.

He was previously the Vice President at Perception Digital Ltd. and has held various project management and marketing management at companies like Cornice Inc, National Semiconductor, VIA‐Cyrix Inc. and Texas Instruments where he worked in their Singapore, USA and Greater China offices.
