Jason Yin spent seven years in Singapore and Hong Kong researching health systems in East and Southeast Asia, focusing on universal health coverage and vaccine hesitancy. He earned his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong, where his research centred on the spread of vaccine misinformation in Taiwan through social media data.

His work aims to improve health system effectiveness and combat misinformation to enhance public health outcomes in the region.
