Adrian Lam - Managing Partner - BIOWORLD VENTURES

Adrian Lam is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing all operational activities for Bioworld Ventures, an investment consortium of industry executives, healthcare investors, engineers, physicians and entrepreneurs; and Bioworld Labs, a newly formed incubator, resource hub and company builder currently operating as a venture consultancy.

Previously, Adrian was an early R&D and BD executive at Genesis Medtech, a medtech platform focused on minimally invasive therapies, backed by Sequoia China, WuXi AppTec, Boyu Capital and General Atlantic. Prior to that, he was a Portfolio Manager at Sectoral Asset Management, a Canadian healthcare specialist fund with over $1B under management in global healthcare portfolios. Adrian started his career at Stryker Corporation, where he ran the Advanced Biomaterials R&D Group in Ireland. He has also been CXO for a number of startups.

Adrian is also currently Venture Partner at Tiger Jade Capital, Verge HealthTech and Vectr Ventures.
